अवार्ड सीज़न इस ओनिट्स वे...........

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. I had one of the best ones that I have ever had since being in California. Couple of friends, soothing music, and the bubbly made for an awesome night.
I finally watched the reunion show of “The Real Atlanta Housewives” and it was explosive. Kim is such a “fake Fendi.” I mean, that whole cancer segment just made me not like her more. I think she was trying to win some sympathy from the other ladies, however, it didn’t explain her two-race antics. I totally believe (along with millions of viewers) that she is a gold digger. I was shocked to see Lisa act up and poor Deshawn just sat there with her mouth shut. I think she was still embarrassed about her failed charity auction. Shere is also a gold digger and inside sources tell me she’s a lesbian. I had no idea that everyone was concerned about Kim and her complimenting each other all the time. I can’t wait for the next installment.
The Grammy nomination show premieres on CBS, Wednesday December 3, at 8:00. My big picks for mulit-nominations are on Kanya West, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Carrie Underwood, and Alicia Keys. I mean, let’s face it; these are the only artist that has really been in the news this year for their music. This will be followed up the following week with the Golden Globe nominations. I can’t wait to see what happens. GO “SEX AND THE CITY.”
Shock and scandal has continued to rock the worlds of everyone on “Survivor.” I was so happy to learn that the old racists guy Randy got the boot. Backstabbing and swing votes have shaken the cast to the core. It was a priceless moment to see Bob get fooled and that moment will go down in “Survivor” history. It was very reminiscent of last season when that guy had both idols and still got voted off. My pick is on “Sugar.” Can she take herself to the end? I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Ok, so when did 1+1=1? The other day I was standing in line at “Ross.” Javier decided to go back over to the decorative soap isle to pick up some soaps. I decided to stay in line and save our spot. How about all of these people were giving me dirty looks because I had no merchandise in my hands. Am I not supposed to do this? There are times when this act as to be done. On any given payday, the commissary is like a zoo. One has to stay in line while the other shops.

Entertainment happening now.....

Hello ladies and gents. So we are almost finished with the first half of “new T.V.” Last Tuesday was the season finale of “The Real Atlanta Housewives.” Eh…it was ok. I wanted to see some more drama. Tonight the ladies meet head-to-head in the reunion show airing on Bravo this evening. I wonder if Kim will finally admit that she cannot sing. I wonder if NeNe ever found out who her father really is. Did Lisa’s jewelry line take off and did Shere finally launch a successful clothing line? Well, tune in tonight because I am sure there is going to be lots of drama.
In just a few short weeks, the Golden Globe nominees will be announced. I think the actual date is December 11, 2008. The actual show “The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards” will air on January 11, 2009@ 8p.m. on NBC. I am really excited. I think “Sex and the City” will be nominated in several categories. While spending six seasons on HBO, the show was nominated twenty four times. Although, it only walked away with eight during the show’s long run. Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall have both walked away with a golden statuette. Poor Kristen Davis was only nominated once; that one time being her role in season five. Sarah Jessica has won four out of her eight nominations for her role as Carrie Bradshaw. Kim Cattrall has won one out of four nominations for her role as sex crazed Samantha Jones. Cynthia Nixon has been nominated for her role as Miranda Hobbes five times; however she has not taken home a statuette yet. I was shocked to find that Ms. Nixon has never won; not too surprised that Ms. Davis has never won. Remember that the ladies will be competing in the “Movie Musical or Comedy” genre this year. Honestly, I think they have a really good shot. The only half-way funny movie I have seen this year was “27 Dresses.”
As far as T.V. ”Musical or Comedy” nominations, I have my money on “Samantha Who” and “30 Rock.”
I was not able to watch “Survivor” this week so I have no idea what happened. I thought my DVR was recording it, however it did not. So, if you have some comments about it let me know.
Well that’s about it for today.
